In the ever-evolving world of fashion, few stories captivate as much as those that intertwine legacy and ambition. Viktoria Volkova and Nina Edelman are living proof that style and resilience run in the family. From Viktoria’s humble beginnings in Zhytomyr, Ukraine, to Nina’s rise as a Milan Fashion Week favorite, their journeys are a testament to the power of determination, grace, and an unyielding love for fashion.
Viktoria’s story began in 1997, when a local scout saw potential in the shy 16-year-old and encouraged her to enter the Miss Ukraine beauty contest. Despite her reservations, she claimed third place, setting the stage for a promising modeling career. Though opportunities with Elite Model Look beckoned, Viktoria chose education over the runway, balancing her studies in Kyiv with modeling for Ukrainian Fashion Week and other notable projects. Later, motherhood called her to a new chapter in Moscow, where she shifted her focus to raising her daughter, Nina.
Nina Edelman’s first taste of the fashion world came at just 11 years old, posing alongside her mother for a bold editorial in Veter Magazine. The experience sparked her passion for modeling, but like her mother, Nina initially prioritized education. After graduating from high school, she moved to Milan to study Fashion Business at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni. There, surrounded by the industry’s pulse, Nina was scouted by Women Agency and began her ascent into the high-fashion scene.
Together, Viktoria and Nina represent the modern fashion dynasty: a mother who paved the way with wisdom and resilience, and a daughter who carries the torch with innovation and flair. Their bond transcends generations, proving that the true essence of style lies not just in what you wear, but in how you carry yourself through life’s transitions.
For Viktoria and Nina, fashion isn’t just a career - it’s a shared language of strength, ambition, and love. As they continue to evolve, their story reminds us that the future of fashion is as much about legacy as it is about reinvention.
