Leia, welcome to Marie Claire Serbia, you are a popular singer. What is the secret of success for your career?
-Thank you so much. It definitely takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and a routine.. but if you really love singing, it doesn’t always feel like work.. most of the time it is a very enjoyable career and to enjoy and love what you do is the best recipe for a successful work path.

Tell as about song that you will present soon?
- I’m super excited for my next release! It’s with artist Cristina Lazic & Damian Lazarus for The Crosstown rebels Spirit VI album called - SO DEEP
How you planing to release the song?
- It is available now for presave on all platforms and will be released for purchase and streaming on February 2 nd through the Label Crosstown Rebels. Be sure to check out my links in my social media platforms to find all my music!
Who was an author of song? And team who was working on it?
I wrote the song and Cristina did the production. The song came together pretty quickly. I actually sent Christina an a cappella voice note and from there her and Damian produced it out. In my opinion, she came up with such a beautiful beat right off the bat so It made the song very fun and meaningful to work on. It has been a pleasure to work alongside Cristina and Damian and the team at crosstown (per usual)! Everything including the song placement was just always coming together so fluidly. We Definitely were meant to work together!

Tell us about the press/song photos you shot for the new song release. You did unique photoshoot in Milan, right?
-Yes! I did just get together with Cristina so we could have photos to promote the release of the song! It was such an amazing trip. The trip was photographed by StillVika & styled by Elizabeth Margulis. We ended up on a little side trip to Florence and all I can say is Italy forever has a little piece of my heart now.
On Christmas you played your first headlining gig in NYC. Tell us what did you think about the nightclub hearsay?
-I love the venue. Underground, dark moody… It was definitely a vibe. The crowd was fun too. Would definitely recommend going there for a night out if you’re in NYC. I wasn’t expecting there to be that many people out on Christmas, but the place was definitely full with a good crowd and I had a great set. Well done venue.
You are starting to prepare new album. Can you tell what vibe of album will be? And what songs you planning to include in it?
I can’t really get into too many details yet and you guys are the first people I’ve talked about this with… I can tell you I will be starting it soon within the next two weeks. You can expect to hear a new sound from me for sure. I will be recording it here in Los Angeles and hope to finish it with a special group of friends in Florence. They are brilliant humans and artists themselves, I really am so thankful for the road I’m bout to embark down. I feel like my mom and angels are guiding me and I’m exactly where I need to be on my path. The album is going to be amazing and I hope that a tour comes from it so I get to travel and perform it for you guys all over the world 🙂
I will be working with Producer Sam Barsh, a GRAMMY-winning and Multi-Platinum discography of over 300 records
to thousands of live performances all across the globe,
producer, songwriter and keyboardist for short 😉
Also producer DWY (pronounced Dewey) who is South London’s deep-thinking songwriter. His R&B-slash-soul mixtape, Self-Contained, ushers in more than a new era for the musician who’s just found his voice. It’s one of my fave mixtapes. I listen to it on repeat. It never gets old, and I can’t wait to begin working on this album with him!
The album is going to include some personal experiences feelings, i will be pulling a lot of inspiration for writing the songs directly from my life and some of it from other people, their personal experiences and what they’ve inspired me to write.
I look forward to it all unfolding and to share it with the world later on this year.
What do you dream about?
- Honestly, right now I dream about everyone in the world having peace. I know that is something that is unrealistic but I truly pray for this every day. I want to be able to build a family and bring children into a world that is not messed up like the current one We are living in. It’s hard to keep pushing forward in my projects when there is wars where women, children, and INNOCENT lives are being harmed…. And I am supposed to post on social media like nothing is happening or then if I’m not posting I am seen to not be using my voice and like I’m just continuing on in my career without a care for other humans.
I dream for a world of peace and no war 🙁 I will continue to use my voice by writing about current issues and putting it into my music, donate proceeds I make from my music to civilian aid organizations, and to charities where funds are needed most in the world right now…. I will continue to pray & dream that we come together as a human race and treat the earth & one another better.
